Aperol Spritz
The Aperol Spritz needs very little introduction. It’s the OG when it comes to aperitivos. The bright orange color, the sparkling bubbles, and a ray of sunshine dot every table in the afternoon in Italy. It’s been a staple of Italian culture since Luigi and Silvio Barbieri created it in 1919 after seven years of extensive experimentation.
Ingredients
3 parts Prosecco
2 parts Aperol
1 part sparkling water
Instructions
Add all parts together and mix well. Serve over ice in a wine glass and garnish with an orange slice.
